Broadcast Templates

Mweb provides various Broadcast Templates for you to choose to access different broadcast functions. Click on the Tabs below to start learning how all these broadcasts work!

Template: Ask customer rate service

This broadcast provides functions to achieve activity as Customer Survey. It will require all the recipients in the relevant Contact Group to rate for your specific products or services. Based on the ratings, if the replies from some customers are negative, system will automatically ask them for feedbacks or comments. Meanwhile, manager who is responsible for the survey will be notified of the bad ratings and the feedback contents through SMS messages.

Step 1 - Prepare specific columns in Contact Book:

Prepare the following columns in Contact Book for proper use of this broadcast.

Step 2 - Choose the "Ask Customer Rate Service" template:

Access the Ask Customer Rate Service Broadcast Template from Broadcast Template Page as described in Create a Broadcast guide in the Broadcast Management page.

Step 3 - Edit the broadcast in the "Text View" or "Dialog Map View" interface:

Option 1: Edit in the "Text View" interface.

Click the "Text View" button "" at the top left corner in the web page to switch to the "Text View" interface.

Then you will see all the options of settings are listed there.

You could click the button "" at the top left corner to see the dialog map of this broadcast and check all its work flows. Given below lists the explanations of each settings option to help you finish the editing: .

  • Broadcast - specifies the name of the broadcast.
  • Keep Draft - if value is 'ON', the draft will be saved after the broadcast is started for future use; otherwise, the draft will be deleted.
  • Node contact group - specifies the Contact Group where the SMS/Email will be sent to.
  • Node destination column - specifies the column that stores contacts' Mobile Numbers in a Contact Group.
  • Node content - specifies the content of the sending SMS/Email for each node. You can see there are several Insert a Variable drop down lists which contain all the column names of the chosen Contact Group. When entering the message content, choose a column from the drop down list and then the representation of its value will be inserted. When the broadcast is started, this representation will be replaced by the actual value.
  • Node manager mobile number - specifies the manager's mobile number where the feedback SMS from the recipients will be sent to.
  • Broadcast new added contact - By default, this option is set "No", which means when you start the broadcast in this situation, the system will send SMS to all the contacts that are already in the contact group, no SMS will be sent to the new contacts you add after; If this option is set "Yes", when you start this broadcast, no SMS will be sent to the contacts that are already in the contact group. On the contrary, the system will only send SMS to the contacts that are new added after the broadcast is started.

Option 2: Edit in the "Dialog Map View" interface.

When you choose to edit in the "Dialog Map View" interface, you can click the "Show All Config" button "" in this web page to open a settings panel which contains all the settings options of this broadcast from the right hand side. Then finish all the settings at one time.

Or, you can finish the settings by editing each Node respectively. In this case, clicking the relevant figure of the Node that you are about to edit in the interface to show and edit its settings in the right hand side panel. As shown in the following image, clicking on the figure of Node 2, the relevant settings for Node 2 will be shown in the panel.

At Last:

When you finish all the settings, click "Save" button at the bottom of the web page to save the broadcast, or click "Send" button to start the broadcast straight away.
